Customized Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) Consultations
All Care Pharmacy can facilitate an in-depth one-on-one consultation with you to assess your individual health issues and devise a regimen to help you meet your goals.
Customized Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is the replacement of deficient hormones with hormones that are chemically identical to those that the body naturally produces, but which have declined due to aging or illness.
Customized HRT has improved the quality of life for millions of women and men who suffer from hormonal imbalance. Achieving hormonal balance includes an assessment of hormone levels and complete evaluation of signs and symptoms, followed by replacement of the deficient hormones in the most appropriate dose via the most effective route for each individual, and monitoring to fine tune the therapy. Understanding the critical role quality supplements in an anti-aging and better health is also vital in achieving strong metabolic health.
Our HRT consultant, Dr. Indu Joshi, PhD, received her training in Neurophysiology at the University of Toronto and has been specializing in women’s and men’s health for the past 12 years. Dr. Joshi can evaluate and discuss laboratory test results (ie. salivary hormone test, blood test, nutritional evaluation report), and review medical history to create and recommend a customized treatment regimen. Together with you and your current physician, Dr. Joshi works to assist you to reach your health and well-being goals.
At All Care Pharmacy, we offer salivary hormone testing. Saliva testing is a convenient, inexpensive, and above all, accurate means of testing steroid hormones. Scientific studies have shown a strong correlation between steroid hormone levels in saliva and the amount of hormone in the blood that is active or “bioavailable.” Hormones in saliva are exceptionally stable and can be stored at room temperature for up to a week. This offers maximum flexibility in sample collection and shipment.
